Jerome R. "Jerry" Bogoniewski, 80, of Riverview Park, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Greenawalt) Bogoniewski. They were married July 14, 1962 and celebrated 58 years of marriage. Born in Buffalo, NY he was the son of the late Stephen C. and Sophie (Trembicki) Bogoniewski. He served in the US Navy as a Dental Technician. Jerry was a member of Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, Temple, where he was very involved as a church member. He worked for many years at Glen Gery, Shoemakersville, retiring in 2003. Jerry spent a few years volunteering his time to sick patients at Reading Hospital with the Raggedy Ann and Andy group. He enjoyed hunting. He was also a member of the Senior Club of Laureldale and the Tuckerton Nifty Fifty. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter: Debora L. (Bogoniewski) Baker, wife of William, Fleetwood; a son: Richard J. Bogoniewski, husband of Pamela, Windsor Twp.; five grandchildren: Tyler, Stephanie, Justin, Brandon, and Alex. He is also survived by two sisters: Theresa (Bogoniewski) Seweryn, and Sister Mary (Bogoniewski) Marcelette; and a brother: Martin S. Bogoniewski; all of Buffalo, NY. He was predeceased by brother: James E. Bogoniewski. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 am from Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, 400 N. Temple Boulevard Temple, PA 19560. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the church.
