Jeanette L. Gerberich, 75, of Orwigsburg, and formerly of Lenhartsville, died Monday, January 21, 2013 in Orwigsburg Center, where she was a patient since Friday. She was the wife of Myron C. "Tim" Gerberich, who died October 4, 2005. Born in Mansfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles K. and Nellie (Touby) Glasgow. She was a 1956 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. Along with her husband, Jeanette owned and operated the Maiden Creek Motel, Lenhartsville, from 1978-2007. She attended Frieden's Church in Lenhartsville. Jeanette was a member of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary and Dutch Hex Tour Association. She enjoyed reading and going to flea markets and auctions. Surviving are two daughters: Gwen M. Gerberich, Fairview Twp., York Co.; and Gail G. (Gerberich), wife of Jeff Rarick, Orwigsburg; and three grandchildren: Charlene (Rarick), wife of Kyle Knauss; and Clint and Cole Rarick. Also surviving are two brothers: Wesley L. Glasgow, in Michigan; and Kimberly S. Glasgow, in Washington. She was predeceased by two brothers: Harvey P. and Drake R. Glasgow. Jeanette was very fond of her "granddog" Owin Buckeye. Services will be on Thursday at 1:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be in Frieden's Cemetery, Lenhartsville. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Thursday 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be sent to Helen O.
