Jean M. Riegel, 91, formerly of Hamburg, a resident at Maidencreek Place, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Donald T. Riegel died February 8, 2017.

Born in Dauberville, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Williamson and Mabel (Yerger) Kummerer. Jean was a former member of Union Fire Company No. 1 of Hamburg and beneficial; and Shoemakersville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and Beneficial. She enjoyed kitting, crocheting, and coloring. She always enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by a son: Barry L. Riegel, husband of Stephanie L. (Wisser), Hamburg; two grandchildren: Justin M. Riegel, and Jennifer K. (Wisser) Singh; and seven great-grandchildren: Jayden, Mikayla, Nevaeh, Kaylum, Rylee, Cayden, and Terry. She was predecased by her three brothers: Charles W., Robert L., and Ronald L. Williamson.

A viewing will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 am in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery, Shoemakersville.
