Jean D. Fiskaldo, 82, of Leesport, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in ManorCare, Laureldale, where she was a patient since July 2. She was the wife of Anthony A. Fiskaldo, who died January 12, 1998. Born in Muhlenberg Twp., she was the daughter of the late Earl Henry and Martha Edna (James) Dierolf. She was a graduate of Ontelaunee High School. Jean worked as a clerk and manager for Pensupreme on Kutztown Road in Laureldale for many years. She also worked part-time at Fairgrounds Market. Jean was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Shoemakersville Fire Company. Jean enjoyed crocheting, going to the casinos and playing bingo. Jean is survived by one daughter: Diane M. (Fiskaldo), wife of Stephen W. Liptak, Jr., Birdsboro; two sons: Daniel E. Fiskaldo, and his wife Jeanne, Temple; and Michael A. Fiskaldo, companion of Shelly Acevedo, Temple; five grandchildren: Christopher A. Liptak; Kevin A. Liptak, and his wife Erin Davis; Melissa Fiskaldo; Dominic Fiskaldo, and his wife Victoria; and Marcus Fiskaldo; and two great-granddaughters: Aly and Cora. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
