Janet I. Drebushenko, 79, formerly of Leesport, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading. She was the wife of Walter E. Drebushenko, died May 24, 2016. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Victor Zellers and Mary A. (Kerns) Noll. She graduated from Ontelaunee High School in 1956. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport. Janet worked in the office at Quaker-Maid Cabinets, Leesport and later worked for Dreb's Superette before retiring. Janet enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading books, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a big Philadelphia Phillies fan. Janet is survived by three sons: Neil D. husband of Lisa (Adams) Drebushenko, Sinking Spring, Brian P. Drebushenko, Leesport, Keith A. husband of Angie (Perrotto) Drebushenko, Wyomissing; a daughter-in-law: Colleen L. (Mull) Drebushenko, Dover; eight grandchildren; one step- granddaughter; and a sister: Hope A. (Zellers) wife of Jerry Seidel, Morris, PA. She was predeceased by a son: Duane E. Drebushenko, died January 8, 2017; a brother: Harry D. Zellers; a half-brother: Leon Degler, Sr.; and a half-sister: Helen (Degler) Faller. Services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 from Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, 102 Apple Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
