Jane M. Breininger, 81, of Tilden Twp., passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 in her residence. She was the wife of Kenneth R. Breininger. They were married April 13, 1963 and celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Emma L. (Bagenstose) Metz. She was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. She graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1960. She worked as a sewing machine operator for Burkey Knitting Mill and later Wright's Knitting Mill before retiring in 2005. Years ago she and her husband enjoyed campling, and she enjoyed crocheting.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter: Nadine F. (Breininger) Stoudt, wife of Dale H. Stoudt, Centre Twp.; and a granddaughter: Amber N. Stoudt, Centre Twp. She was predeceased by a sister: Anna M. (Metz) Spohn.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
