James L. Lutz, 76, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Linda L. (Luckenbill) Lutz.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Denton and Doris (Landis) Lutz. He graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1966. James worked as an electrical lineman. He loved his granddaughters; hunting; and collecting traps. He also enjoyed the outdoors, and feeding birds. He was a member of the Shartlesville Fish and Game Association.

He is survived by two sons: Peter J. Lutz, husband of Zena; and Matthew J. Lutz, husband of Monica, both of Bernville; and four granddaughters:  Erica, Alexandra, Cassandra and Charlotte. He is also survived by two brothers: Michael Lutz, Shoemakersville, and Jeff Lutz, Palmyra; and a sister: Nancy (Lutz) Trexler, Trexlertown. He was predeceased by a brother: William "Billy" Lutz, and a sister: Pat (Lutz) Wessner.
