James E. "Jim" Haggerty, 66, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 in his residence.

Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph D. Haggerty, and Grace A. (Heffner) Haggerty. He worked for 20+ years at BARTA as a mechanic before becoming disabled. He also had spent a number of years as a Berks County Parks Ranger. Jim was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to watch TV. He enjoyed cooking, and cars and trucks. He was a former member of the Aircraft and Aerospace workers union.

He is survived by a sister: Joan M. (Haggerty) Adam, wife of Dennis L. Adam, Upper Bern Twp.; three brothers: Robert A. Reeser, husband of Kathleen B. (Anton), Upper Bern Twp., William C.E. Reeser, husband of Janice, Millville, PA, and Kerry C. Haggerty, Temple. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother: Joseph D. Haggerty.

Memorial services will be private at the convenience of the family.
