Jacqueline A. Reber, 82, of Bern Twp., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Samuel C. Reber, who died March 19, 2020.

Born in Temple, she was the daughter of the late Norman R. and Florence M. (Barlet) Delp. Jacqueline was a 1958 graduate of Mt. Penn High School. She worked for IDG Corporation for twenty-eight years, retiring in 2008. Jacqueline was a member of the Reading Fairgrounds Racing Historical Society. She liked cardinals, angels and playing cards. Jacqueline was a very special person. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and her neighbors.

Jacqueline is survived by her daughter: Karen M. (Reber), wife of Daryl S. Mengel; and two granddaughters: Rebecka L. (Mengel), wife of David Caldwell; and Kayla A. Mengel, all of Centre Twp. She is also survived by two sisters: Joan M. (Delp) Schmeck, Cape Canaveral, Florida; and Christine E. (Delp) Burke, Wyomissing; and many nieces and nephews.
