Irene Anne Markosi, 81, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in her residence. She was the wife of Dr. Charles Markosi, Jr., who died April 25, 2014.

Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Pauline Rongyos. Irene graduated from Lansford High School and Thomas Jefferson School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for her husband's practice and then at Jetson Direct Mail Service, Inc. Irene was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Hamburg.

Irene is survived by her children: Lauren J. Markosi, Somers Point, NJ; Charles Markosi, III, Canton, GA; Tanya L. Markosi, West Lawn; and Mary A. Greene, wife of Stuart, Tilden Twp.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings: Joseph and Michael Rongyos; and Marie Boyle.
