Ira E. Lutz, 42, of Centre Twp., died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in the Reading Hospital where he was a patient since Sunday. Born in West Reading, he was the son of John P. Lutz, Centre Twp., and Ann L. (Lesher) Moore, Reading. He was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. Ira worked as a plumber for various contractors in the area. He enjoyed sailing on the Chesapeake. Surviving in addition to his parents is one brother: John P. Lutz, Jr., Philadelphia; two sisters: Beth Ann (Lutz), wife of Steven Rhoads, Oley; and Rebecca L. Lutz, Reading; his step-mother: Donna M. (Mountz) Lutz; nephew: Jason; and niece Leeann. Services will be on Saturday at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Centerport.
