Ida Mary Franks, 93, formerly of Ephrata, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 5th, at Abbeyville Nursing & Rehab, Lancaster, PA.

She was the beloved wife of the late Calvin L. Franks

Born in Elkton, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Carrie (Bernstein) Greenwald.

Ida is survived by two sons Colin Franks and Paul Long; two daughters Ava Gangaway and Alyce Schweitzer; nine grandchildren: Diana Thomas, Chelsea Unruh, Mike Fox, Tracy Fox, Jamie Fox, Shane Schweitzer, Ava's children: Jody Lutz, Michelle Burkhart, and John Tracy, Jr.; and 10 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren survive her.

A Viewing will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2024 from 10 A.M. to 11A.M. at Leibensperger Funeral Home Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport PA 19533. Immediately following the Viewing at 11:30 A.M., a graveside service will be held at Epler's Church Cemetery at 1151 West Leesport Road, Leesport, PA 19533.
