Howard J. Young, Jr., 64, of Reinholds, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 2, 2025. He was the husband of Debra L. (Moyer) Young. They were married November 30, 1991 and celebrated 33 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Howard J. Young, Sr., Oley, and the late Rose Marie (Gartner) Young. Howard attended Oley High School. For the past 8 years, Howard owned and operated Ultimate RC Pitstop, Sinking Spring. He loved RC cars, and was very dedicated to his business. He was also a very proud grandfather. Anyone who knew Howard knows his proudest accomplishment was his daughter Samantha and his two beautiful grandsons. Every day he would play videos of his grandson's over and over. Family was what drove him to always find new ways to provide. Ultimate RC Pitstop was a vision that he brought to Life. He was proud of what he created and worked hard to make it the best he could.

Surviving in addition to his wife and father is a daughter: Samantha K. (Young) Watkins, wife of Luke E., Heidelberg Twp.; two grandsons: Archer and Everett; a brother: Jerry Young; and a sister: Diane (Young) Geroni. He is also survived by his niece: Deidre Geroni and his nephew: Will Geroni.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. Burial will follow in Leesport Cemetery.
