Howard L. Miller, "Skip," "Skipper," 74, of Hamburg, died Tuesday April 8, 2014, in his residence.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Lloyd E. and Lou Marguerite (Burkert) Miller. Howard worked as a machine operator for Interstate Paper Container for 30 years, and last worked for Steve Moyer Subaru in Temple and Leesport. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Howard was a member of Loyal Order of Moose #523 for over 25 years, Hamburg Game, Hamburg Legion #637, Port Clinton Fire Co., and Keystone Social Club. Howard was also a member of Elks & Moose in Delaware.
Howard is survived by a daughter, Debra A. Clauss and her companion Kenneth Sheetz, Richmond Twp., a brother: Edwin Miller, Reading, and two sisters: Dorothy Miller, Reading, and Edith Nye, Birdsboro. He was predeceased by his companion Joyce Geisinger, a daughter: Lori L. Miller, and a brother: George Miller.
A viewing will be held on Saturday April 12, 2014 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc. 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (Off street parking in rear). A Loyal Order of Moose service will be held at 2:30.
