Herbert E. Hueske, 87, formerly of Hamburg (Tilden Twp.), died Monday, September 30, 2013 in Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. He was the husband of Anneliese C. (Tillmann) Hueske, Pottsville. They were married on September 8, 1951 and celebrated sixty-two years of marriage. Born in Klein-Butzig, Germany, he was the son of the late Gustav and Ida (Lenz) Hueske. Herbert worked thirty-six years as a machinist for Brush-Wellman Corporation, Shoemakersville, retiring March 1992. He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp., where he was a former member of the church council. Herbert was a former member of Shoemakersville Fire Company; Central Berks Fire Company, Centerport; and Perry Game Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Frank R. Hueske, and his wife Pamela, Hanover; and Ralph W. Hueske, and his wife Margaret, Kenhorst; three grandchildren: Mark Hueske, and his wife Heather; Ashley Hueske, and Luke Hueske; and two great-grandchildren: Derek and Landon Hueske. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from St. Michael's Church, 529 St. Michael's Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held in the church Friday 10:00 to 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Michael's Church Memorial Fund, at the above address.
