Herbert H. Deibert, Jr., 80, of Hamburg passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 in Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg. He was the husband of Lolita R. (Donatelli) Deibert, who died May 29, 2019.

Born in Hamburg, he was the son of the late Herbert H., Sr. and Mary Catherine (Bernet) Deibert. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Herbert worked for Schaeffer's Coal Yard, Peter's Bros., Prestolite Battery, Honeywell International, Mid-Atlantic Canners, Penske, and New Era. He was a member of St. Mary R.C. Church, Tilden Twp. Herbert enjoyed collecting model trucks.

Herbert is survived by a daughter: Mary C. (Deibert) Hafer, wife of Adam, Port Clinton; and two grandsons: Matthew and Aron. He is also survived by one brother: William Deibert, husband of Ruth; and two sisters: Shirley (Deibert), wife of Richard; and Patricia (Deibert) Boyer, wife of Dale. Herbert was predeceased by a brother: Robert Deibert.
