Helen D. Lazor, 87, formerly of Whitehall, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 in the Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Michael Lazor, a resident at Whitehall Manor. They were married on June 28, 1952 and celebrate 62 years of marriage. Born in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Johanna (Bauer) Brem. Helen was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall, where she was a volunteer and member of the Rosary Alter Society. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters: Josette A. (Lazor), wife of William P. Klokis, Macungie; and Cynthia L. (Lazor), wife of Oliver G. Kasper, Hawley; three grandsons: Scott Klokis, and wife Carrie; Todd Klokis, and wife Debra; and Tyler Bachman, and wife Ashley; and two great-grandchildren: Aurora and Wyatt. Helen is also survived by one brother: John Brem, Coplay; and one sister: Elsie Marcin, Whitehall. She was predeceased by one brother: Rudolph Brem; and five sisters: Emma Liebezeit, Amelia Brem, Johanna Kroboth, Agnes Bauer, and Rose Imp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 am from St. John the Baptist Church, 3024 S. Ruch Street, Whitehall. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Coplay. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday 9:30 to 10:30 am.
