Helen K. Ernst, 95, of Mohrsville, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026 in her residence.

Born in Bernville, she was the daughter of the late Edwin E. and Clara R. (Kauffman) Ernst. Helen graduated from Penn-Bernville High School. She worked on the family farm and babysat. Helen was an active member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp. She helped in the kitchen for the bazaars and was instrumental in starting the sandwich sales. She loved her cats; her most recent companion was Cindy. Helen was blind and very proud to be able to live alone.

Helen is survived by her sister: Barbara Rausch, wife of John, Bernville; brother-in-law: Richard W. Sterner; nephews: Tom and Dave Rausch; niece: Karen George; and her cousins. She was predeceased by a sister: Fern Sterner; and a nephew: Richard A. Sterner.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 at Salem (Belleman's) Church, 3540 Belleman's Church Road, Mohrsville, PA 19541. Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A visitation with the family will be held in the church Wednesday 10:30 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to Salem (Belleman's) Church at the above address.
