Obituary

Harold C. Richmond, Jr., 75, of Monroe Twp., Wyoming County, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. He was the husband of Linda T. (Smith) Richmond. They were married October 22, 1966 and celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harold C. Richmond Sr., and Margaret "Rita" (Cawley) Richmond. He graduated from Germantown High School. He served our country in the US Marine Corps, serving during Vietnam. Harold worked as a line supply/ machine operator for Procter and Gamble for 22 years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of the American Legion, Marine Corps League, VFW, and NRA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was always forced by his wife to play BINGO.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter: Deborah J. (Richmond) Daigneault, wife of Don, Hamburg; a son: Steven D. Richmond, husband of Leah, Rome NY; five grandchildren: Jacob, Kimberly, Andrew, Abigail, and Stevie; and two great-grandchildren: Ezra, and Adelaide. He was predeceased by a sister: Elaine R. (Richmond) Ayers.

A viewing will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 (off-street parking in rear). Private inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
