Gretchen Christie Shaffer, 61, of the Hamburg Center, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Reading Hospital. Born in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Daniel J. Shaffer and Nancy (Paller) Shaffer. Gretchen is survived by one brother: Ricky Shaffer; two sisters: Brooke Shaffer and Kim Gauronski; step-mother: Judy Shaffer; and step-brother: Michael Lockett. She is also survived by her Hamburg Center family. A Memorial Service will be held in the Hamburg Center Auditorium on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 9:30 am. Burial will be in P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
