Grace J. Goodhart, 83, of Centre Twp., passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Barry L. Goodhart. They were married December 27, 1958 and celebrated 64 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Reynold Boyer and Grace P. (Harner) Boyer Harkins. Grace graduated from Reading High School in 1958. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and birdwatching. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose heart was always full of love for everyone. Kind, sweet, loving and non-judgmental come to mind as she always put everyone else before herself. She was and will continue to be our hero and will be missed by all.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: Jeffrey T. Goodhart, husband of Laura, Limerick Twp., and Michael J. Goodhart, husband of Nicole, Douglassville; three daughters: Kathie J. (Goodhart) Miller, Laureldale, Stephanie K. (Goodhart) Burns, Exeter, and Susan E. (Goodhart) Hernandez, wife of Victor, Killeen, TX; thirteen grandchildren: Jennifer, Erik, Michelle, Gabriella, Caleb, Shelby, Isaiah, Ava, Megan, Julie, Lauren, Jordan, and Tyler.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 7, 2023 at 2:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Oley Cemetery.
