Fronefield
December 22, 1939 – October 12, 2025
Grace E. Fronefield, 85, formerly of Tilden Twp., passed away Saturday, October 12, 2025 at Above All Senior Living Care LLC, Allentown, PA. She was the widow of Frederick V. Fronefield died July 30, 2015.
Born in West Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Ernest S. and Ida E. (Folk) Balthaser. Grace was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg, and has faithfully attended Evangel Fellowship Church, Allentown for the last number of years- and she was very active there. She received an associate's from Christian Broadcasting Network; now called Regeant University. Grace worked for approximately 30 years as an aide at Hamburg Center, until retirement. She had participated in Mite Society at Alsace Lutheran Church; and bible study at Friedens Church, Shartlesville. She was also a member of Temple Fire Company.
Grace is survived by three sons: Herman F. Fronefield, husband of Debra (Blount), St. Cloud, FL, Alfred M. Fronefield, husband of Patricia (Holbrooks), Kempner, TX; and Ralph E. Fronefield, Reading, PA; five grandchildren: Katrina (Fronefield) Jenness, Christopher Pitcher, Clayton Pitcher, Desiree (Pitcher) Robbins, and Tiffany (Holbrooks) Bunn; and five great-grandchildren: Collin Jenness, Logan Bunn, Lindsay Bunn, Emma Marsh, Alice Marsh, Oin Robbins, and Raia Robbins. She is also survived by a brother: David G. Balthaser, Dyersburg, TN. She was predeceased by a daughter: Belinda G. (Fronefield) Pitcher; a granddaughter: Marcie (Fronefield) Marsh; a brother: Earl L. Balthaser; and two sisters: Verna M. (Balthaser) Eisenhart, and Marion Balthaser.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 at 2:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off street parking in rear).
Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp.
A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
