Gloria M. Unger, 95, of Centerport, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 in Maidencreek Place. She was the wife of the late Lester L. Unger, Jr., who passed away June 2, 2004.

Born in Centerport, she was the daughter of the late Willis P. and Minnie D. (Zerbe) Rentschler. She was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church. She graduated from Ontelaunee High School in 1945. Gloria attended Reading Business Institute and was later employed as a secretary for Berks Title in Reading. She loved music, dinner theaters, and church activities. She enjoyed family gatherings, summers at the hunting cabin, and cats. She had a very strong faith and was very spiritual.

Gloria is survived by a son: Larry L. Unger, (Eileen), Morris, PA; two daughters: Susan L. (Unger) Sapna Kline, (Jese), Bern Twp., and Doreen K. (Unger) Ottaviani, (Don), Bern Twp.; five grandchildren: Joshua Sapna, Lauren Fisher (Jason), Elissa Unger, Christopher Beissel, (Katie), and Jordan Beissel, (Sarah); and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings: Wayne, Paul, and Raymond Rentschler, Miriam Kreider, Dorothy Miller, and Anna Bair.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Leesport Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to: Salem (Belleman's) Church, 3540 Belleman's Church Road, Mohrsville, PA 19541.
