Gloria M. Hoy, 76, of Centre Twp., passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Allen L. Hoy, died September 22, 2018.

Born in Centre Twp., she was the daughter of the late Lester and Pearl (Strause) Rentschler. She graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1965. Gloria was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp. She worked in area knitting mills and was a hairdresser's assistant. She was a member of Strausstown Rod and Gun Club and Northkill Rod and Gun Club. She was a former member of Mt. Pleasant Fire Company and Shartlesville Fire Company. Gloria always enjoyed going to her cabin in Tioga County with her husband.

Gloria is survived by two sons: Kevin L. Hoy, husband of Julie, Tilden Twp., and Keith J. Hoy, husband of Karen, Wasilla, Alaska; and three grandchildren: Christina, Wyatt, and Justin. She was predeceased by a brother: Gerald Rentschler.

Funeral Services will be held Tomorrow, Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
