Glever B. Horton, 77, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 in his residence. He was the husband of Suzanne (Lee) Horton. They wer married December 17, 1964 and celebrated 56 years of marriage. Born in Huntington, PA he was the son of the late Sadie (Browand) Mills. He was a US Army Veteran. Glever was a truck driver for 50 years, last driving for Giorgio Foods until his retirement. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved lawn care and was a car buff. Glever liked camping, motorcycling, boating, and walking on the beach. He always enjoyed good food. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: Ricky L. Horton, husband of Donna (Reppert), Hamburg; two daughters: Vicki L. (Horton) wife of Jeffrey Smith, Hamburg, and Suzanne M. (Horton) wife of William Ebling, Mohnton; five grandchildren: Danielle, Brittany, Travis, Ryan, and Emily; and five great-grandchildren: Cara Mae, Easton, Memphis, Colby, Cyrus, and one on the way. He is also survived by a brother: Thomas Horton, York. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
