Obituary

Glen K. Graeff, 75, of Centre Township, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Karen E. (Good) Graeff. They were married on August 27, 1976, and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Kenneth L. and Evelyn H. (Yeager) Graeff.

Glen was a 1970 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from January 21, 1971, until his honorable discharge on May 15, 1974, having attained the rank of Sergeant.

Throughout his working career, Glen was employed in the welding profession. He worked for the former Hahn Motors, Hamburg, welding the tanker trucks; and later worked for Edenberg Welding for approximately 32 years; and then Albright College as a custodian for approximately five years.

Glen was a member of Schuylkill Valley Bible Chapel. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially riding his bicycle and taking trips to Virginia Beach. He loved going to the beach, reading, and spending time with his beloved dogs. Years ago, Glen also enjoyed coaching Little League baseball in Mohrsville. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Karen, are his children: Eric S. Graeff, husband of Kimberly M. (Kinney) Graeff, of Derry Twp.; and Alison E. (Graeff) Barnett, wife of David W. Barnett, of Leesport. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Summer E. (Graeff) Borbely, wife of John, Rachel K. Savage, and Reese M. Graeff. Glen was predeceased by his brother, Donald L. Graeff.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Schuylkill Valley Bible Chapel. Burial will follow in Viewpoint Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held at the church from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Leesport, is in charge of arrangements.
