Glenn L. Becker, 80, of Hamburg, a resident at Orwigsburg Center, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024. He was the husband of Carol J. (Greig) Becker. They were married November 24, 1999 and would have celebrated 25 years of marriage this year.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Mahlon and Sarah (Koller) Becker. Glenn was self employed, owning and operating Becker Transportation for approximately 40 years until 2018. He was a member of Tractor Club, Hamburg Lions Club, and Union Fire Company #1 of Hamburg, where he served as a Fire Police Officer.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his step-children: Michael J. Ruppert, Jr., David S. Ruppert, Randy L. Ruppert, Suzanne M. (Ruppert) Balthaser, Margaret M. (Ruppert) Becker, Timothy J. Ruppert, Christopher K. Ruppert, Joel D. Ruppert, Heather N. (Ruppert) Biehl, Sara E. Ruppert; and his step granchildren and great- grandchildren. He is also survived by a nephew: Scott Hall, and a niece: Cheri (Becker) Vollbracht. He was predecased by a step-daughter: Michele E. (Ruppert) Kunkel, a step-son: Dennis A. Ruppert, a brother: Donald M. Becker, a sister: Carol A. (Becker) Hall, and a nephew: Craig Becker.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
