.Glenn E. Adam, 80, of Perry Twp., passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara K. (Kehr) Adam. They were married on July 3, 1954 and celebrated sixty years of marriage. Born in Shoemakersville, he was the son of the late Sallie (Adam) Heckman. Glenn was a 1952 graduate of Perry High School. He worked for Carpenter Technology until retiring in April 1997. Glenn organized and started the Shoemakersville Little League; built the first little league field; and was a coach for the Shoemakersville Little League. Glenn also enjoyed woodworking. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Craig E. Adam, and his wife Jessica, Shoemakersville; and Brian K. Adam, Reading; two daughters: Gwen J. (Adam), wife of Gregory Stoudt, Hamburg; and Tammy L. (Adam), wife of Jonathan Keller, Schaefferstown; six grandchildren: Michelle Smith, Jennifer Adams, Nicole Valentino, Dr. Nathan Keller, Dr. Matthew Keller, and Collin Adam; and six great-grandchildren: Logan, Zachary, Brady, Tori, Gabby, and Xander. Glenn is also survived by his mother-in-law: Edith M. (Wily) Kehr, Perry Twp.; one brother: Lester Sunday, Philadelphia; and two sisters: Helen Burkey, Wyomissing, and Mae Berger, Hamburg. Services will be held on Monday at 1:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
