Glenda A. (Ernest) Zimmerman, 72, of Centre Twp., passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 in Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. She was the wife of Russel B. Zimmerman. Glenda met her missing piece on November 27, 1982, and they were married on August 13, 1983 and celebrated 39 years of marriage.

Born in Bloomsburg, she was the daughter of the late Rachel E. Peifer and Bernard D. Coladonato. She graduated from Southern Columbia Area High School in 1968. Glenda worked as a legal secretary for Liever, Hyman, and Potter, in Reading for approximately 30 years, retiring in 2013. She enjoyed reading. She was a former member of The Mat Club and the Football Mother's Club at Schuylkill Valley. She was a previous girl scout leader and Sunday school teacher.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: Zachary Z. Zimmerman, companion of Tiffany Montoro, Centre Twp., and Benjamin R. Zimmerman, Blandon. She is also survived by her sisters: Tina (Coladonato), wife of Stanley C. Wisniewski, II, Rose (Coladonato), wife of Chris Hunsinger, Beth Coladonato, and Dana (Coladonato), wife of Charles Covelusky, III. She is also survived by her step-siblings.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
