Georgine M. Koch, 75, of Perry Twp., passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of Barry F. "Nick" Koch, who died November 7, 2009.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Fredericka S. "Sugie" (Gruber) Romanic. Georgine was a graduate of Reading High School. She worked for Carpenter for thirty-two years. Georgine enjoyed sailing, street rods and camping.

Georgine is survived by a sister: Joan C. Romanic, Surprise, Arizona; and a nephew: Aaron Bailey, in Colorado. She is also survived by many good friends who she loved. Georgine will be missed by her fur-babies: Munchkin and Murphy.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 am at Berks County Memorial Gardens. Those attending are requested to meet at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport for the procession to the cemetery at 10:30 am.
