Frederick R. Ancillai, 64, of Maidencreek Twp., passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022. He was the husband of Donna L. (Eckman) Ancillai. They were married September 15, 1985 and celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Born in Newark, NJ, Fred was the son of the late Fred and Barbara (Carver) Ancillai. He graduated from South Mountain High School, West Orange, NJ. He spent 20 + years in the restaurant business, and had spent a few years as General Manager for Sodexo. He was most recently employed as a shipper for East Penn Manufacturing from April 2014 until he became disabled in October 2019. He was a member/supporter of Wounded Warrior Project, was a talented craftsman and enjoyed whittling walking sticks. He loved to hang out by his fire pit, and feed the wildlife in his backyard.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter: Lindsey E. (Ancillai) Burnish, wife of Ryan P., Fleetwood; a grandson: Aaron M. Burnish; a sister: Andrea (Ancillai) Jimenez, wife of Samuel, Florida; a his mother-in-law: Catherine E. (Deimler) Eckman, Toms River, NJ.

Viewings will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm; and 5:00 to 6:30 pm in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. A funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm in the funeral home.
