Frances R. Wagner, 74, of Maidencreek Twp., a resident of Laurel Center, Tilden Twp., passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Laurel Center. She was the wife of Calvin T. Wagner, Jr., they were married February 22, 1975 and celebrated 47 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. Barcz, Jr., and Frances R. (Zasztowt) Barcz. She was a member of Maidencreek Church, Blandon. Frances had worked at the former Continental Can, Reading, which is where she met her husband, Calvin. Later she worked as an aide at Reading Hospital. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Blandon Fire Company, and had also served as Entertainment Chairperson for the fire company. She enjoyed amateur radio, cake decorating, cooking, baking, quilting, and embroidery. She was a former poll worker, and always enjoyed conversation. She enjoyed attending the Pricetown and Oley Senior Citizens; and always loved to take care of her kids and grandkids.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: Anthony T. Manzolillo, husband of Susan L. (Moll) Centre Twp., and Thomas A. Manzolillo, husband of Carey C. (Douglass), Bernville; a daughter: Amy S. (Wagner) Lindenmuth, wife of William E., Mohnton; and four grandchildren: Gregory, Breanna, Calvin, and Reiley. She is also survived by a sister: Caroline F. (Barcz) Williams, Minersville. She was predeceased by a brother: Walter F. Barcz, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
