Fern I. Stewart, 81, formerly of Hamburg, a resident at Grandview Manor, Fleetwood, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Warren L. "Butch" Stewart, died June 21, 2008.

Born in Windsor Twp., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Reppert) Bower. She graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1962. Fern worked in Wright's Knitting Mill; and later worked for Society Cleaners, Hamburg. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and and the social life at Grandview Manor where she resided. 

She is survived by her sister: Ruth (Bower) Hoppes; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers: Sterling, Paul, and Lester Bower; and sisters: Grace (Bower) Schartel, and Joyce (Bower) Peffley.

Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, March 5, 2026, and will begin promptly at 10:30 am in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off-street parking in rear).
