Evelyn F. Stamm, 89, of Reading, died Monday, September 3, 2012 in the Berks Heim where she was since August 30. She was the wife of James H. Stamm, Sr., who died October 17, 1973. Born in Lancaster Co., she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Pauline (Haubert) Sweigart. Evelyn was a member of New Life Bible Fellowship, Oley. Evelyn is survived by two sons: Barry M., husband of Marcia (Mountz) Stamm, Allons, Tennessee; and Terry R. Stamm, companion of Melinda J. Novatnak, Richmond Twp.; four grandchildren Christopher Greiner, Brian Stamm, Rebecca Stamm, and Scott Stamm; and one great-grandson: Maxwell Stamm. She is also survived by a sister: Anna May (Sweigart) Harding. Evelyn was predeceased by a daughter: Bonnie Lynn Stamm, died in 1948; and a son: James H. Stamm, Jr., died May 12, 2010. Services will be on Saturday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Centerport. Burial will be in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp.
