Evelyn H. Graeff, 86, of Hamburg, died Thursday, September 6, 2012 in the Reading Hospital. She was taken there from the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp., where she was for three weeks. She was the wife of Kenneth L. Graeff, who died June 4, 2002.

Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Luther E. and Vera M. (Shollenberger) Yeager. Evelyn first worked as a sewing machine operator for Merit Underwear Company. She then worked for Hamburg Broom Works as a sorter; and last as a sales clerk at Silco, Hamburg, last working in 1975. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Hamburg. She was also a member of Union Fire Company and beneficial association, Hamburg.

Evelyn is survived by two sons: Donald L., husband of Mary (Crigger) Graeff, Leesport; and Glen K., husband of Karen (Good) Graeff, Centre Twp.; three grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by a sister: Doris M. (Yeager) Brendel.

Services will be on Wednesday at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
