Evelyn Ruth Leiby Bowers, 86, passed peacefully on the 26th of November, 2013. She is the daughter of: Verna M. Wagner and Mark A. Leiby. She was predeceased by Janet L. Ahrensfield, sister, husband John W. Bowers and former husband Robert L. Berger, Jr., VMD. She is survived by her children: Robert L. Berger III & Jill E. Berger, wife of Daavid KCS Benjamin, grandchildren: Eric, Jeremy, Ygraine, Orion & Jillian and great-grandchildren: William, Athan, Eliana & Jana. Evelyn graduated from Hamburg High School, class of 1945 and the Reading Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her RN degree. Her love and kindness were influential in sustaining life in many humans and other animals. She was an avid reader, an enthusiastic traveler and a lover of nature. Her Spirit lives.
