Ethel I. Tolomei, 97, a resident at Hearthstone at Maidencreek, died Monday, August 22, 2016. She was the wife of Anthony Tolomei, died September 19, 1997. Born in Upper Bern Twp., she was the daughter of the late Joseph W. Kauffman and Mary Pearson. Ethel was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale. She was a member of Pikeville Gun Club, and Shoemakersville Fire Company and Beneficial Association. Surviving are two sons: Ronald N. husband of Rita M. (Loose) Bowers, Tilden Twp., and Barry A. husband of Linda L. Tolomei, Blandon. She is also survived by three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a niece: Dolores wife of Jerry Schlott, Laureldale. Services will be held Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Laureldale Cemetery.
