Esther L. Ulmer, 86, of Hamburg, and formerly of Reading, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 in the Reading Hospital where she was a patient for two weeks. Her husband, William C. Ulmer, died February 12, 2005.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna L. (Goodman) Pauley. She was a graduate of Reading High School.

Esther is survived by one daughter: Jacqueline I. (Ulmer), widow of Darryl T. Moyer, of Hamburg, and with whom she resided; two grandchildren: Dena D. (Moyer) wife of Jim Weidenhammer, Windsor Twp.; and Wade A., husband of Julie (Stine) Moyer; and two great-granddaughters: Alyse and Devon Weidenhammer. She is also survived by one brother: Willis C. Pauley, Exeter Twp. Esther was predeceased by four brothers: Edward, Freeman, Donald and Charles Pauley.

Services from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg (off street parking in rear) on Thursday at 11:00 am. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
