Emma C. Kline, 80, of Hamburg, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 in St. Luke's Hospital- Bethlehem. She was the widow of the late Arlington L. Kline, II, died October 30, 2020.
Born in Reading, she was the son of the late Harrison W. and Elsie I. (Nagle) Wagner. She graduated from Penn Bernville High School in 1962. She was a member of Zion's Church, Perry Twp. She worked for 29 years as a secretary for the County of Berks, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed card games, coloring, and paint by number. She loved listening to church songs, crocheting, sitting by the ocean, and eating cheeseburgers on the grill. Emma loved her family more than anything.
She is survived by her children: Arlington L. Kline, III, and his wife Kimberly, Reading; Lisa M. (Kline), wife of Richard Degurski, Ocean Twp., New Jersey; and Lori J. (Kline) Culver, companion of Shane Werley, Shartlesville; seven grandchildren: Brian, Shayna, Alyssa, Caitlin, Steven, Lyndsey, and Hannah; and ten great-grandchildren: Everest, Aspyn, Scarlett and Joel, Luca, Isla, Jude, Damien, Ellie, and Bryce. She was predeceased by her siblings: William and Mahlon Wagner, and Marguerite (Wagner) Stertzel.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm from Zion's Church, 770 Zion Church Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Emma's wish was for everyone in attendance to wear bright colored clothing.
