Elsie M. Hubler, 94, formerly of Spring House, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the Laurel Center, Hamburg, where she resided. She was the wife of Alvin J. Hubler, Sr., who died in 1982.
Born in Riverton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late William Frederick Todd and Elsie (Crouch) Todd. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Camden, NJ. Elsie worked as a secretary for many years for First Presbyterian Church, Flourtown, until her retirement. She attended Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, Coopersburg.
Elsie is survived by one son: Alvin J. Hubler, Jr., husband of Lynn (Nagg) Hubler, Elizabethtown; and three daughters: twins: MaryAnne (Hubler), widow of Pastor Scott W. Koeppen; and Mary Jane (Hubler) Sears, both of Hamburg; and Elsie M. (Hubler), widow of Donald R. Bell, Coopersburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin brother: Joseph Todd; and brothers: William, Walter, and Frederick Todd.
