Elmer R. "Pat" Breidigan, 92, formerly of Strausstown, a resident at Laurel Center, Tilden Twp., passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025 in Laurel Center. He was the husband of the late Vera (Ketner) Breidigan, died January 6, 2025.

Born in Washington Township, Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late Edward W. and Lillie M. (Wagner) Breidigan. He was a member of Zion Blue Mountain UCC, Strausstown. Elmer worked for 41 years for Hoffman Industries, Sinking Spring, retiring in 1996. He was a 1951 graduate of Pine Grove High school; and was an US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Surviving is a daughter: Kathy M. (Breidigan) wife of Larry Reifsnyder, Upper Tulpehocken Twp., a son: David A. Breidigan, husband of Alice (Flammer) Breidigan, Upper Tulpehocken Twp., two grandchildren: Amy S. Breidigan, Upper Tulpehocken Twp., and Christopher M. Evans, husband of Elizabeth (Grasing) Evans, Newton, MA; two great-granddaughters: Emilia and Nora Evans. He is also survived by a brother: Fred, husband of Gail Breidigan. Elmer was predeceased by his brothers: Claude and Paul Breidigan and a sister: Eva (Breidigan) Moyer.
