Eldon Rohrbach, Jr., 72, of Albany Twp., died Monday, March 17, 2014 in his residence. He was the husband of Marsha "Kay" (Gough) Rohrbach. They were married on September 19, 1964 and celebrate 49 years of marriage.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Eldon, Sr. and Charlotte (Ueberroth) Rohrbach. Eldon was a 1960 graduate of Liberty High School. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Eldon was a licensed barber. He was a maintenance worker for the Pennsylvania Turnpike, last working as a clerk. Eldon then drove school bus for Berks County Vo-Tech. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose #523, Hamburg; and Behler-Hein Post #637 American Legion, Hamburg. Eldon enjoyed stamp and coin collecting.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Cindy K. (Rohrbach), wife of Scott Weitzel, Blandon; and Laurie K. (Rohrbach), wife of Eric Simpson, Seffner, FL; four grandchildren: Nicholas and Carter Weitzel, and Virginia and Violet Simpson; and one brother: Edward Rohrbach, Sr., widower of Linda, Bethlehem.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm from Frieden's Lutheran Church of Stony Run, 9727 Red Road, Kempton, PA 19529. Burial will follow in Frieden's Cemetery, Stony Run. A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday 12:30 to 2:00 pm.
