Elaine E. Reading, 66, of Edenburg, Windsor Twp., died Thursday, June 14, 2012 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp. Her husband, Thomas C. Reading, died August 3, 2004.

Born in Stony Run, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Peiffer) Stump. Elaine was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. She enjoyed game shows, puzzles, and sewing; and was an active participant in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.

Elaine is survived by one son: Jason T., husband of Justine M. (Baer) Reading, Windsor Twp.; one daughter: Justine A. (Reading), wife of Jamie D. Sampson, Windsor Twp.; and three granddaughters: Alexis, Haylee, and Kylah. She is also survived by five brothers: Willis, Dallas, and David Stump, all of Virginville; Lee Stump, Lenhartsville; and Roger Stump, Kutztown; and two sisters: Mary A. (Stump) Reber, Pottsville; and Linda (Stump) Brumbach, Fleetwood. Elaine was predeceased by a grandson: Braydon.

Services will be on Wednesday at 10:30 am from St. Michael's Church, 529 St. Michael's Road, Hamburg. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp.
