Edward F. Reifinger, 68, of Hamburg, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of Susan D. (Hoyer) Reifinger. They were married July 5, 1996 and celebrated 27 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late William F. Reifinger and Kathryn Zieber. He finished his education in San Diego, CA while he was living with his brother who was serving in the United States Marine Corps. Ed worked as a shift manager at CarTech for approximately 30 years until he retired. Ed enjoyed working at Big Diamond Raceway; woodworking; and was a fan of racing. He always loved to spend time at Perry Game Association.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: Brent Reifinger, Hamburg; a daughter: Heather B. Reifinger Stoudt, Hamburg; eight grandchildren; two step children: Steven Wanner, husband of Lynette, Indiana, and Mark R. Newcomb, husband of Chris, Adamstown. He is also survived by a brother: James Reifinger, North Carolina; and a sister: Pam Reifinger, Hershey.
