Edmond W. Adams, "Mondie", 81, of Shoemakersville, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband of Vivian L. (Dengler) Adams. They were married on January 16, 1954 and celebrated 58 years of marriage.
Born in Ontelaunee Twp., he was the son of the late Raymond and Viola (Bitterman) Adams. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Edmond first worked as a car salesman for Lutz and Bittmeran, Robesonia. He then worked for Carpenter Technology, Reading, until his retirement.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Cheri L. (Adams) Riegel-Hettinger, Shoemakersville; and Sheryle J. (Adams) Delewski, Hamburg; one grandson: Ashley J., husband of Kelly Riegel, Hamburg; and two great-grandchildren: Madison and Carter Riegel. Edmond is also survived by his twin brother: Edward F. Adams, Shoemakersville.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry Twp.
