Doris M. Wesner, 81, formerly of Muhlenberg Twp., died Thursday, December 19, 2013 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. She was the wife of Arthur F. Wesner, Jr., who died July 3, 2007. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Daniel H. and Laura M. (Nittinger) Rothenberger. Doris worked as a folder for various knitting mills in the area. She enjoyed crocheting and reading; and especially loved her pets. Doris is survived by one brother: Francis Robert Rothenberger, Muhlenberg Twp.; and two sisters: Betty E. Beeman, in Virginia; and Barbara L. Showers, Spring Twp. She was predeceased by three brothers: Stanley Fasig; and William and John Fasig; and five sisters: Mary H. Messersmith; Kathleen S. Oswald; Dorothy Dietz; Eva Schaeffer; and Florence Heisch. Services will be private. Burial will be in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery, Ontelaunee Twp.
