Doris M. Walters, 80, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 in her residence. She was the wife of Harry M. "Skip" Walters, Jr. They were married on June 27, 1964 and were one-day shy of celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Born in Shoemakersville, she was the daughter of the late Theodore L. and Irene M. (Sieger) Riegel. Doris was a 1952 graduate of Perry High School. Surviving in addition to her husband is one son: Jeffrey T. Walters, husband of Joyce I. (Heffner) Walters, Maidencreek Twp.; one daughter: Dana L. Walters, fiancé of Mitchell J. Peters, Hamburg; and two grandchildren: Matthew Theodore and Leah Rose. Doris is also survived by three brothers: Donald Riegel, Hamburg; James Riegel, Tilden Twp., and Dennis Riegel, Richmond Twp.; and one sister: Joann (Riegel) Ernst, Upper Bern Twp.
