Obituary
Donald R. Correll, 68, of Hamburg, died Saturday March 15, 2014 in Laurel Center.
Born in Bernville, he was the son of the late Milton W.H. and Edna M. (Reichard) Correll.
Donald worked for Wrights Knitwear, Hamburg for approximately 10 years, Paul G. Billig Contracting for 5 years, and last worked as a maintenance worker for Penn Steel, Hamburg last working in 2000. Donald was a member of the Union Fire Co. No. 1 of Hamburg, Shoemakersville Fire Co., Shartlesville Fire Co., and Hamburg Moose Family Center No. 523.
Donald is survived by: five brothers, Robert husband of Mary Alice Correll, Windsor Twp., Kenneth Correll companion to Rita Lopez, Hamburg, and Barry husband of Elda Correll, Edenburg. Donald is also survived by two sisters, Shirley (Correll) Billig, Mohrsville, and Doris (Correll) wife of Paul Billig, New Tripoli. Donald was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donald was predeceased by 7 brothers, Carl Correll, Ernest Correll, Raymond Correll, Russell Correll, Sterling Correll, Milton Correll, and Harold Correll
A viewing will be held on Friday March 21, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc. 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 (off street parking in rear).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605.
