Dolores E. Spatz, 84, of Centre Twp., died Sunday, February 26, 2017 in her residence. She was the wife of William E. Spatz, died October 20, 1978. Born in Ontelaunee Twp., she was the daughter of the late Elias and Cora A. (Koller) Stetzler. She was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. She graduated from Ontelaunee High School. Dolores owned and operated the Harmony House Luncheonette in Centerport from 1971-1978. She was a member of Shomakersville Fire Co. Auxiliary, Central Berks Fire Co., and the Western Berks Riding Club. She enjoyed horseback riding, Siamese cats, quilting, feeding calves, and enjoyed buying things at craft shows. Dolores is survived by a son: Richard W. Spatz husband of Mary Beth (Seitzinger), Bern Twp.; three daughters: Robin A. (Spatz) Phillips wife of David L. Phillips, Centre Twp., Rita J. Spatz wife of Gene K. Anderson, Centre Twp., and Ruth E. Spatz, Gilbert, AZ; eight grandchildren: Amy Garber, Laura Schoeller, Sarah Phillips, Whitney Deisher, Philip Anderson, Justine Spatz, Dustin Spatz, and Richie Spatz; and four great-grandchildren: Alexus and David Garber, Riley Deisher, and Janna Schoeller. She is also survived by two brothers: Roger and Sherwood Stetzler. She was predeceased by a brother: Leon Stetzler. Services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 from St. Michael's Church, 529 St. Michael's Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
