Diane R. Hafer, 74, of Centre Twp., passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp. She was the wife of Paul M. Hafer. They were married August 27, 1967 and celebrated 56 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Donald C. and Marilyn F. (Ward) Brenner. She graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1967. Diane worked as the manager of the Canteen in the Annex Building at Berks Heim for 30 years, until retirement. Diane owned and operated Second Time Around, a craft and jewelry stand at Leesport Farmer's Market. She loved crafts, baking, and cooking. She always enjoyed being around her family and was very dedicated to her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: Adam C. Hafer, Schuylkill County; a daughter: Angela R. Hafer, West Reading; three grandchildren: David C. Hafer, Corey Yoder, and Marilyn Yoder; and a great-grandchild. She is also survived by a brother: Donald C. Brenner, Jr., husband of Lori A. (Blatt), Centre Twp.; a sister: Rita A. (Brenner) Ernst, Bern Twp.; and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson: CJ Yoder.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. Burial will follow in Leesport Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
